1. Their songs

From “the way you flipped your hair makes me overwhelmed” to “Shot me out of the sky, you are my kryptonite”, yes, these lyrics do bring a cheeky smile on our face but they have certainly taken the all love songs panorama to another and more intense, romantic level.

2. I don’t feel beautiful every single day…

…and listening to “What makes you beautiful” certainly does the job. Plus those five, angel-face guys singing to me on the beach, kind of make me feel ‘summery’ and I don’t know a single girl who doesn’t feel more beautiful on a summer day.

3. The hair factor

This is even called the Bieber factor. Every single member of One Direction has exceptionally good hair, something you don’t usually find in guys over twenties, sorry boys.

4. The vintage vehicles of their videos

From Vespas to Volkswagen buses, they always drive wonderful cars in their videos. They don’t really watch the street much but I am pretty sure they are good drivers.

5. They prefer girls without makeup

Or so did Niall Horan say on Twitter recently; so girls let’s all get ‘au naturel’ for once, just in time for National No Make Up Day apparently.

6. Number One in the US

They reached number one on the US billboard 200 chart this week according to Digitalspy.co.uk and if you make it in the US you pretty much conquer the world or so they say.

7. Their great fashion style

They are always dressed impeccably and again, I don’t know any single guy who dresses that well and he is 100 % straight.

8. Crazy fans

My mind is filled with images of crazy fans sleeping outside the box-office desperately trying to get their tickets for, wait for it, 2013. A clear sign that crazy fans and groupies are not dead, a good thing I think.

9. Twitrelief

They have a good heart and they joined Twitrelief where celebrities put celeb goodies up for Sport Relief. “Nothing is set on the stone,” said One Direction’s Niall Horan to Mtv.com, but in the past weeks there have been speculations about our favourite band getting their own TV show on Nickelodeon. Now it’s just a matter of waiting and seeing what happens.
